Suspension Lowering & Coilover Installation — Custom Auto Tech

Suspension

North Providence's Coilover & Lowering Specialists

Lowering springs and coilover installation, dialed in for the ride quality, stance and handling your build calls for.

Stance & Handling

Lower the Right Way — Fitted, Aligned, Checked.

Whether you want a cleaner, lower stance or sharper handling, lowering springs and coilovers are the two most common ways to get there. Springs are the simpler, more affordable route on stock shocks; coilovers add adjustability for drivers who want to fine-tune ride height and feel.

Either way, we fit the parts to spec, set alignment and check fender clearance through full suspension travel — the step that gets skipped most often and causes tire rub down the road.

What We Install

Suspension Work We Handle.

Lowering Springs

A cleaner stance and tighter handling on your factory shocks — the straightforward way to lower a car.

Coilover Installation

Adjustable ride height and damping for drivers who want to dial in the exact feel and stance.

Alignment

Every lowering job finishes with proper alignment, so handling and tire wear stay in check.

Fender Clearance

If lowering creates tire rub, our dedicated fender rolling service solves it.

Try it

Dial in your stance.

Fender rolling is the work we are known for. Pick a drop and a wheel fitment, and see why lower, wider setups need clearance at the lip.

Questions

Suspension & Coilovers, Explained.

Should I get lowering springs or coilovers?

Lowering springs are a simpler, fixed-height upgrade that pairs with your stock shocks; coilovers let you adjust ride height and often damping. We'll talk through the trade-offs for your car and budget during your quote.

Will lowering my car cause tire rub?

It can, depending on how low you go and your wheel/tire setup. We check fender clearance as part of the install and can pair it with fender rolling if needed.

Do you handle alignment after the install?

Yes — proper alignment is part of the job, not an afterthought, so the car drives right once it's lowered.

Can I supply my own coilovers or springs?

Yes — we regularly install customer-supplied suspension parts. Send us the details and we'll confirm fit before booking.
